Journeyman Sign Installer
Up to $95K annually, Sign on/Retention bonus up to $2,500.00!
Up to $2,000 in relocation expenses with the right candidate.
This is a full-time position Mon-Fri., with occasional weekend or night work required.
Well established, rapidly growing, full service custom sign company located in Loveland, CO looking for a qualified and experienced sign installer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review production drawings/engineering, identifies and prepares necessary materials and supplies for sign installation
- Drive company truck following DOT regulations
- Install products per required specifications
- Ability to operate a variety of common hand and power tools and crane/bucket trucks
- Daily communication with Install Manager, PMs, other Installers, Office Staff, ect.
- Follows all safety guidelines and regulations including use of PPE
- Completes administrative tasks such as collection of signatures for all work performed, photographs, employee time sheets, and other paperwork
- Meets attendance standards and complies with late/absence notification procedures
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Leads are responsible for crew apprentices/helpers
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass drug screening, physical and background checks
- 5+ yrs experience in the sign industry
- Current CDL with clean driving record
- OSHA safety training certified
- Experience operating bucket/crane truck
- Electrical and welding experience
- Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces
- Knowledge in all aspects of signs, lighting, and maintenance
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may include overtime, evenings, and weekends
- Must have own hand and power tools and properly use them
- Motivated, with strong work ethic
- Solid organizational skills; able to multi-task and complete requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems.

- Attend monthly safety training meetings
Preferred:
- NCCCO certified
- Rigger/Signalman certified
- Welding certified
- Electrical certification or license
- Boom/Scissor Lift certified
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 80 pounds+.
- Must be able to lift, squat, bend, kneel, reach, pull and push substantial weight.
- Must be able to safely use a ladder.
- Must be able to work in extreme conditions (-10F-100F).
