The permitting process, for your exterior signs, can be complicated and sometimes lengthy depending on your project’s municipality. Luckily, we have it covered so you can focus on other parts of your project or whatever it is that you do best! Consider this a gift of time!

Not only do our teams have the experience and knowledge to navigate the complexities of permitting for you, but we also make sure your signs are manufactured and installed in compliance with the permitting ordinances of your city and county.
How are we so successful at this? Having a process, of course! As a little preview, here is what to expect during the permitting stage of your project:
- It all begins with submitting the application, which often includes submitting the site plan, design, survey and other documents requested from the municipality.
- Once the application and supporting documents are submitted, the application goes through review, which can take 3-6 weeks, depending on the location of your project.
- After everything is reviewed and finalized, the next step is issuance. Typically, footing inspections, electrical inspections and other underground inspections, occur at this point.
- After everything is deemed compliant, installation begins, but you can read all the juicy details about what to expect during installation on our page dedicated to installation.
- Once your signs are installed (and looking beautiful) it’s time for final inspections to super, extra make sure that everything is copasetic and meets the requirements of both the project and the city and county it’s in.
